The Marine Room is one of Providenciales’ newest fine dining restaurants, and is located on the west side of Grace Bay overlooking the Bight Beach. It specializes in serving seafood and gourmet fare, and is an excellent choice for large groups, families, or couples. The restaurant has an elevated dining atmosphere, and a great view of the north shore off Providenciales.
Think beachfront luxury with a mid-century modern flare. Serving dishes from the bounty of the north Atlantic waters that surround the Turks and Caicos Islands, The Marine Room focuses on offering a lively and experiential dining experience that combines luxury with approachability. Outdoors, you’ll find an open wooden pergola bordered by lush palms, while indoors, you can settle into a cozy booth while indulging in delicately presented and diverse dishes.
Hence the name, The Marine Room’s specialty is seafood. Their Mediterranean dinner menu offers first and main courses that incorporate both local ocean species and fresh imported seafood, including tuna, conch, swordfish, grouper, calamari, lobster, mussels, and seabass.
Some of their most inspired first-course items are their Tuno Duo, made from tartar, tiradito, guacamole and mango caviar, and their swordfish crudio, made from white soy, lemon oil, capers, shallot, and local samphire. For the main course, their taglioni allo scoglio, a pasta dish that combines lobster, mussels, shrimp, calamari, and crostini, offers a rich mix of seafood species. For vegetarians, their dinner menu also includes fresh, meatless options like burrata, heirloom tomato carpaccio, and truffle gnocchi. The Marine Room also has a kids menu, which features penne pasta, chicken piccata, and grilled grouper.
The restaurant’s robust menu of more than 30 wines includes sparkling wines and champagnes, reds, whites, rosés, and dessert wines from around the world. Most of their wines are from France, Italy, and California, with select vintages from Greece, Portugal, and Hungary. Champagne lovers will find Veuve Clicquot, Moet & Chandon, and Besserat De Bellefon on the wine list.
